In the Business Development role, your primary function it the initiation and growth of excellent working relationships with potential clients with a view to driving new business and growth. This is a full time role that will involve travel both domestically and internationally.
You will be responsible bringing in fully qualified and realistic new business leads into the company from clients across all sectors internationally. Highly experienced in the Exhibitions industry, you will ideally have experience of the events and experiential world also, and be able to coordinate and motivate others in your team.
Reporting into the Commercial Director, you will be the main focal point for the company with prospects, and will represent the company values and credentials.
*Initiate and develop working relationships with potential customer contacts, understanding and interoperating their needs and influencing their thinking.
*The targeting of prospects to uncover new business opportunities through calls, emails, social media/online engagement and show walking to gain new business and RTP documentation.
*Maintenance of new business pipeline to ensure the future stability of the company‘s expansion, working from 1–5 years in advance ensuring long terms goals and targets are achieved.
*Detailed reporting and logging of activity on the companies CRM system, building an accurate profile of clients and their needs for current and future correspondence.
