My client is looking for a change and results oriented Sales Director to lead the sales team across Exhibitions on a global platform.
You will be a sales leadership professional with proven experience of transforming and inspiring sales performance in a B2B environment. He/she will be able to think both strategically and operationally, with a drive for results and an ability to inspire people. He/she will be change oriented, flexible and a team player.
Position will include:
Delivery of annual revenue targets including space, and value added sales such as sponsorship and digital revenue.
Deliver an optimum organisational structure and talent set for sales teams for maximum effectiveness
Creation of a vibrant results oriented sales culture
Developing the performance of the sales teams
Owning customer relationships at the most senior level
Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service to clients across sales team
Providing effective reporting across the division
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Experience of sales in a service industry
Strong inter–personal skills
Understanding and ability to apply best practice, tools and techniques within a sales organisation
Positive, forward looking and change oriented
Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify new business opportunities.
