We are seeking out an Assistant Purchasing Coordinator for our client, a well–established Interior Design consultancy that produces well–crafted, luxury hospitality environments globally.
The aim of this role is to assist the Purchasing Co–coordinator‘s with all Projects with their role of managing the timely conversion of approved and released Specification Sheets into the best possible commercial Requisitions.
Applicants must fully understand project timelines, handover dates and approved shipping methods in order to contribute to the successful delivery of the project. You will assist the design team during specification generation by obtaining budget, pricing, lead time and delivery information, along with sourcing alternative suppliers to address any budget or pricing issues.
You will be expected to resolve cost/time/spec issues, issue quotations for suppliers, analyse/access supplier quotes, seek improved trading conditions, source new suppliers, communicate with the Purchasing and Logistics Manager, work on tenders, process requisitions and assist with budget monitoring.
