Permanent opportunity for a Junior FF&E Designer to join the team of a globally renowned interiors consultancy, celebrated for its high–end, meticulously crafted hospitality projects. Specialising in large–scale, luxury hotels around the world, this design studio is known for pushing creative boundaries and delivering exceptional quality. Their mission is to create designs that inspire and make a positive impact on everyone who experiences them.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from concept through to completion, supporting the wider design team in delivering high–quality interiors. You will be involved in multiple live projects, gaining hands–on experience and contributing to various stages of the design process.
As a Junior FF&E Designer, your responsibilities will include assisting the Directors, Associates, and Project Leads in developing the creative vision for each project. You will help with design research during the early concept stages, which may involve sourcing mood imagery and gathering site–specific information. You will support the development of material palettes by researching products, ordering samples, attending supplier meetings, and visiting showrooms.
You will also assist the team in creating presentation materials, such as design boards and digital documents, and help with the selection of furniture, fabrics, finishes, and accessories. Other tasks include contributing to the preparation of FF&E specification documents and supporting the administrative needs of the team as required.
We are looking for someone with a good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with AutoCAD and SketchUp is advantageous but not essential. Strong freehand sketching skills are highly valued.
You should be a creative problem–solver with a keen eye for colour, materials, and detail. The ability to stay organised, work to deadlines, and support the team under pressure is important. You‘ll need to be confident working both independently and as part of a team.
If you‘re enthusiastic, design–focused, and looking to grow your career in a supportive and inspiring studio environment, we‘d love to hear from you.
