Logistics and Stock Controller - Design & Art Gallery, London, to £50k

We are working with a leading, London based, Design and Art Gallery to help them find a Logistics and Stock Controller.
 
They are looking for someone with a demonstrable background managing logistics and stock control within the high end Design and Art sector to join their small but busy team.
 
As Logistics and Stock Controller, your role will be broad. You will maintain accurate inventory records for all pieces (both finished and in progress) at on-site and off-site storage locations, manage stock movements between makers, galleries, fairs and warehouses, coordinate incoming goods inspections and quality checks, conduct regular stock reconciliations and inventory audits, ensure all items are correctly labelled, photographed and recorded, and that all dispatches and deliveries are correctly tracked and recorded.
 
You will also support preparations for exhibitions, fairs and installations, organise external art handlers for installations, both in the UK and abroad, and ensure all stock is ready and in good condition when loading transport for external fairs and exhibitions.
 
Applicants must have exceptional organisational and negotiation skills, be calm under pressure, and have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. A Logistics and Stock control background within the Design/Art sector is also essential.
