Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Designer to join a leading design-led studio. This is a senior role for a designer with a genuine passion for experience-led environments, with the ability to lead projects from concept through to completion.
Working closely with the Creative Director and CEO, the Senior Designer will lead multiple projects across a range of scales, from large-scale hospitality schemes to smaller projects. They will take ownership of the creative direction, design development and delivery, ensuring projects are delivered to an exceptional standard, on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have an outstanding eye for scale, proportion, colour, materiality and detail, alongside strong knowledge of FF&E, specialist finishes, sustainable materials, suppliers and bespoke furniture. They will be culturally curious, commercially aware and passionate about emerging trends, hospitality, F&B and innovative design.
Strong project management and technical skills are essential. The Senior Designer will coordinate closely with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers and procurement teams, overseeing drawings, specifications, design development, tender, construction and installation. They will confidently resolve challenges, manage deadlines and maintain design integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Creatively, they will work alongside the Creative Director to develop and present compelling, experience-led concepts, confidently communicating and selling design solutions to clients. Excellent presentation, communication and client management skills are therefore essential.
As a senior member of the studio, they will mentor and support Junior and Middleweight Designers, provide creative direction and contribute to the development of studio standards, processes and culture.
We are looking for a confident, dynamic and highly capable designer who combines exceptional creative judgement with strong technical, project management and leadership skills, and who brings energy, curiosity and a genuine passion for creating beautiful, intelligent and memorable spaces.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, Revit knowledge is highly advantageous.
2 days WFH.
